Salty Pete's Original Pepper Sauce brings Backroads back to the beginning. Built around cayenne and chili de arbol peppers with garlic, red onion, carrot and spices, Original delivers bold pepper flavor and a medium heat that complements your food instead of overpowering it.

This was the first pepper sauce John developed, originally made with peppers grown in the Backroads garden alongside fresh ingredients from local farms. Although the recipe helped inspire Backroads Pepper Company, limited cayenne availability kept it from joining the original commercial lineup. Now, the sauce that started it all is finally part of the Backroads lineup.
